中国矿物岩石地球化学学会气体地球化学专业委员会于2024年1月18日在兰州召开年度工作会议。专业委员会主任委员郑国东研究员、副主任委员张水昌院士、陈践发教授、王云鹏研究员、陈多福教授等30多位委员专家线下和线上出席了本次会议。中国矿物岩石地球化学学会常务副秘书长郭盛处长应邀出席了会议并对专业委员会成立以来的工作表示肯定,并对今后发展提出了期望和建议。专业委员会年度工作会议的成功召开彰显了全体委员在过去一年所做出的辛勤工作,大家的共同努力取得了显著成果,也为专业委员会的不断发展打下了坚实基础。
会议伊始,郑国东主任委员对专业委员会的基本情况做了简短介绍,他对全体委员的辛勤努力表示了由衷的感谢,并从组织结构、成员动态、学术交流活动等多个维度解读了专业委员会的发展历程,也对未来的工作方向提出了一些建议目标和计划,特别强调学术研究、国际交流、青年人才举荐等是专委会的重要发展方向。
随后,气体地球化学专业委员会秘书长李中平研究员全面汇报了专业委员会2023年的主要工作,着重围绕6个方面进行了详细而全面的报告。其中,会议组织方面突出了专业委员会在过去一年内成功组织举办的各类学术研讨会、讲座和交流活动。科学传播与科学普及方面,通过丰富多彩的形式与途径,专业委员会在推动气体地球化学基本知识的普及和科学理念的传播方面取得了显著成绩。在国际合作和交流方面,专业委员会不懈努力,多领域多层次加强了国内国际同行之间的紧密联系,为提升我国气体地球化学研究的国际学术地位贡献了力量。青年人才培养方面,专业委员会在深化教育培训、提升青年科研人才能力等方面积极探索,并通过不同渠道和多种方式为优秀青年科技人才的脱颖而出搭建了有益的平台。随后,专业委员会党小组组长范桥辉研究员介绍了党建工作计划,强调了党建工作在提升专业委员会整体素质和凝聚力方面的重要作用。通过全方位的通力合作,专业委员会在推动学术研究的同时,进一步巩固团队的内部凝聚力,形成更加有力的集体智慧。
本次工作会议也为专业委员会的后续工作指出了清晰的方向。在讨论环节,与会委员从多个角度探讨了气体地球化学领域的前沿学术问题,通过集思广益,汲取了丰富的工作经验,不仅丰富了专业委员会的学术底蕴,也为气体地球化学的发展方向提供了有益的启示。专业委员会将进一步发挥全体委员和同行专家的集体智慧和学术实力,继续推动气体地球化学领域的交流与合作,加强国内国外联系,促进与相关领域的跨学科交叉与融合,为气体地球化学领域的学术繁荣与发展贡献更多力量。

The Gas Geochemistry Professional Committee of the China Mineralogical Petrological Geochemical Society held its annual work conference in Lanzhou on January 18, 2024. More than 30 experts, including Professor Zheng Guodong, the Chairman of the Professional Committee, Academician Zhang Shuichang, Vice Chairman Professor Chen Jianfa, Researcher Wang Yunpeng, and Professor Chen Duofu, attended the conference both offline and online. Guo Sheng, the Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the China Mineralogical Petrological Geochemical Society, attended the meeting and affirmed the work of the Professional Committee since its establishment. He expressed expectations and suggestions for future development. The successful convening of the annual work conference highlights the hard work of all committee members in the past year. Their collective efforts have yielded significant results and laid a solid foundation for the continuous development of the Professional Committee.
At the beginning of the meeting, Chairman Zheng Guodong briefly introduced the basic situation of the Professional Committee. He sincerely thanked all members for their hard work and provided a comprehensive interpretation of the development process of the Professional Committee from various dimensions such as organizational structure, member dynamics, and academic activities. He also proposed some goals and plans for future work, emphasizing the importance of academic research, international exchange, and the cultivation of young talents as key development directions for the committee.
Subsequently, Secretary-General Li Zhongping, a researcher in Gas Geochemistry, presented a comprehensive report on the major work of the Professional Committee in 2023, focusing on six aspects in detail. Regarding conference organization, the report highlighted various academic seminars, lectures, and exchange activities successfully organized by the committee in the past year. In terms of scientific communication and popularization, the committee achieved remarkable results in promoting the dissemination of basic knowledge of gas geochemistry and scientific concepts through various forms of publicity activities. In international cooperation and exchange, the committee made unremitting efforts to strengthen close connections between domestic and international peers in multiple fields, contributing to enhancing the international academic status of gas geochemistry research in China. Regarding the cultivation of young talents, the committee actively explored and provided beneficial platforms for the education and training of young scientific and technical talents, aiming to enhance their capabilities.
Following that, the leader of the Party Group within the committee, Researcher Fan Qiaohui, introduced the work plan for Party building, emphasizing the crucial role of Party building in improving the overall quality and cohesion of the Professional Committee. Through continuous efforts, the committee aims to consolidate internal cohesion and form a more powerful collective wisdom. The successful annual work conference has outlined clear directions for the Professional Committee's future work. During the discussion session, committee members explored frontier academic issues in the field of gas geochemistry from various perspectives. Through extensive discussions, they gained rich working experiences that not only enriched the committee's academic foundation but also provided valuable insights for the development direction of gas geochemistry. The committee will continue to leverage the collective wisdom and academic strength of all members and peer experts to promote communication and cooperation in the field of gas geochemistry. It will strengthen domestic and international contacts, facilitate interdisciplinary cross-collaboration with related fields, and contribute more to the academic prosperity and development of the gas geochemistry field.
In the coming year, the committee looks forward to working hand in hand with colleagues to make outstanding contributions to the continuous innovation and progress of the gas geochemistry field through more academic exchange activities, project collaborations, and the cultivation of young talents. The Gas Geochemistry Professional Committee of the China Mineralogical Petrological Geochemical Society
The Gas Geochemistry Professional Committee(GPCC) of the China Mineralogical Petrological Geochemical Society is a scholarly organization comprised of experts in the field of gas geochemistry. Established in December 2018, it operates as a specialized committee under the China Mineralogical Petrological Geochemical Society and is affiliated with the Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The committee is dedicated to promoting academic exchanges and collaborative development in the field of gas geochemistry. It aims to advance the extensive application of gas geochemistry in geological, energy, disaster, ecological, and environmental domains. The disciplinary directions cover a wide range, including but not limited to oil and gas geochemistry, rare gas geochemistry, seismic and volcanic monitoring and prediction, geological sources of greenhouse gases, and carbon dioxide geological storage. It has evolved into a comprehensive academic group encompassing the entire field of gas geochemistry.
The committee actively organizes academic symposiums, fosters academic exchanges and cooperation in gas geochemistry, authors and publishes specialized books and academic journal papers, promotes the popularization of scientific and technological knowledge, and participates in and organizes significant academic conferences domestically and internationally. Notably, it has hosted colorful domestic and international academic symposiums and exchange activities, such as the Second and Third National Symposiums on Gas Isotope Technology and its Applications in Earth Sciences, attracting active participation from numerous domestic and international experts and scholars.
In the realms of emerging research directions in gas geochemistry, the committee continuously guides attention toward international cutting-edge technologies and research hotspots. In the dissemination of scientific knowledge and scientific communication, it utilizes various means, including new media and online platforms, to spread gas geochemistry scientific and technological knowledge to a broader audience, leading the public to better understand the role of gas geochemistry in addressing global environmental issues and promoting sustainable development.
